Batang Pinoy Events

Batang Pinoy NZ Events is managed by Jade and Manny Munoz. The husband-and-wife team have previous experience organizing popular themed events in the Philippines. From baby bazaars to arts and crafts fairs, vintage items to charity bazaars – the team has a breadth of experience that covers different types of events setups.

A Simple Mission

As Batang Pinoy Events, the team’s goal is to encourage the next generation of Filipino-Kiwis to embrace their roots. This is done through events with interactive programs including games, songs, dances and storytelling sessions. Event concessionaires are currently 100% Filipino-owned business.

Expanding Our Trust

In 2024, Batang Pinoy plans to expand the scope of its events with themed events focused on international food, women’s empowerment, early entrepreneurship and more.

We currently own the NZ trademark for World of Flavours Food Festival.

TAKAPUNA FILIPINO FESTIVAL

Waiwharariki Anzac Square Takapuna

A celebration of the vibrant and colourful culture of the Philippines just in time for Flores de Mayo. We had an outdoor market with food and non-food merchants as well as music and cultural performances.

This event was in partnership with the Takapuna Beach Business Association.

WORLD OF FLAVOURS INTERNATIONAL FOOD FESTIVAL

Auckland Showgrounds

Feast of flavours from around the world with food from the Philippines, China, Korea, Japan, Mexico and so much more. The event features music and dance from around the world as buskers and cultural performers take to the stage so you can enjoy the diversity of cultures that make up Tamaki Makaurau.

This event was part of Auckland Council’s World of Cultures Festival.

MADE WITH LOVE ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR 14 to 16 February 2013 Pavilion 1 & 2 of LRI Design Plaza, 210 N. Garcia St, Bel-Air II, Makati A 3-day one-of-a-kind event offering a unique opportunity for independent artist entrepreneurs who produce handcrafted items to network and meet other sellers. Was featured in TV programs, newspapers and visited by several celebrities Total Concessionaires: 18 Attended by : 800+ AttendeesFRESH PICKS AT CRAVINGS 15 & 16 March 2014 Mezzanine of Cravings Restaurant Katipunan Charity mini-bazaar over 2 days with independent artist entrepreneurs selling handcrafted items. Only 10 merchants were invited and all proceeds from the event management were donated for the operation of a 6-month-old daughter of a fellow bazaar organizer.
